Coronavirus Epidemic - Update 3-13-20

On a daily basis, Family Medical Group NE is keeping informed of the latest developments in the Coronavirus Epidemic.

We are implementing workflows to reduce exposure to this virus as much as possible.  We are asking our patients’ help in this effort, by informing our staff if you are experiencing any respiratory or flu symptoms, such as a fever, cough, shortness of breathe and/or body aches to inform our staff. If you have symptoms, our staff may ask you to speak to a Medical Assistant that will ask additional questions and determine how we can best care for you.

At this time, we will continue to provide regular care as well as sick visits at our clinic.  Patients with respiratory symptoms will be asked to use a separate entrance to keep them separate from our patients who are not ill.

What can you do to reduce exposure to the COVID-19 virus.

  • ·       Frequent handwashing – Washing your hands for a good 20 seconds with soap and water.
  • ·       Use hand sanitizer.
  • ·       Cover your cough with a tissue
  • ·       Avoid large gatherings
  • ·       If you are ill, do not go out in public, stay home.  Call us for information.
